Welcome to my travels in Europe. My home continent for decades, I have visited nearly every country on it with just one remaining. My adventures here range from the windswept glaciers of Iceland in the continent's far north to its Soviet-era dictatorship of Belarus at its centre, from war-ravaged Bosnia in the continent's south to the unrecognised breakaway state of Transnistria in its untrodden east. Europe's enduring appeal is its incredible diversity.
