My adventures here range from cruising down Egypt's majestic River Nile on a traditional dahabiya boat to wandering through the lost ancient city of Petra in Jordan, from the glitzy petro-dollar cities of the Arabian Gulf like Abu Dhabi, Kuwait City and Doha, to floating in the salty waters of the Dead Sea in the tense Palestinian-controlled West Bank. This continent is iconic and rich in culture.
